The East Side Story: HUNGARY

Monday, October 10, 2022

(26JULY22) With just 4 days of rest after my trip to the Netherlands, I went on another Euro adventure towards Hungary! I went solo and very spontaneous that I literally booked it on the last minute! (Say, about 10 days before the flight? ;p) Basically, it was my annual leave from work during that period; I was supposed to spend it with my family however, our plan has to be moved. Hence, this happened alongside that I was in dire need to have a change of scenery. I know I made it to 3 years in the UK but homesickness still kicked me to the gut especially the moment when I transferred to another house and I was in the brink of some personal problems. I even had thoughts of doing an emergency landing to the Philippines but of course, that would be irrational 🙇🏻‍♀️ So instead, I decided to visit one of my target EU countries on my bucket list 💖

Let me share my chill and steady trip to this country known as the “Paris of the East”. Budapest has certainly gave me that picture of calm while having frequent strolls along the Danube river.

My Princess Diary: #ohsoBRIGHTON

Wednesday, July 14, 2021

(27JUN21) An army for a day, but rain, rain, it didn’t go away.
Although, we still got to maximize our day trip in one of the finest cities in the South---BRIGHTON.

This blog covers a DIY day tour to “the hippest town in England” that is located in the county of Sussex. I have to say that 1 day ain’t really enough to explore it for all the Instagram-worthy spots it offer. Plus, I will share our experience to the BT 21 Café: pretty much, the highlight of this trip.

My Princess Diary: A Cornwall Staycation

Monday, August 31, 2020

Nope, I won't let this year end without any new musings. Has it really been 8 months
since my last travel? The thought is frustrating and home sickening to me as an overseas worker. Nevertheless, I'm glad that it's inching back to normal here in the UK and I hope the other countries (especially, my dear Philippines!) would go the same as well. We deserve a huge break from this quarantine biz.

Since it's still a hassle to embark on other countries at this point, I'm resuming my travelventures within the UK border instead! This is even my first time to visit the local outskirts of England 😊 Last 14th August, me and my housemates went on a staycation to Cornwall located at Southwest England.

Cornwall felt like the Philippines' Subic or Clark, Pampanga to me. It is home to sandy beach resorts with lodges/facilities owned by a family business. Thus, here's our 3-day itinerary covering some of the go-to places and must-eats in this beautiful harbor!

3-Day Scottish Sensation

Tuesday, October 22, 2019

(21AUG19) I had a 5-day break from work and i spent 3 days of it in Scotland! ;D This is pretty much, my first spontaneous European trip in which I had mishaps throughout my booking process. It’s a pain in my pocket but let it be charged to experience. ;) Nevertheless, I’m quite a stranger to this country as some would say that the place can be boring and there’s even little info about it in the internet.
So, let me share how my trip went covering 3 cities, the transportation I used, and what you can expect in one of UK’s pride. ;D

Nihao Hong Kong!

Friday, May 12, 2017

After 7 years, we're back in Hong Kong for the third time! Thanks to Fiesta Travel and Tours for our flight tickets :) We purchased it from a Travel Expo last February and their agency gave us a very good deal. However, we didn't go on a packaged tour anymore since we already went to places such as Disneyland and Ocean Park before. Our trip this time covers more on the Kowloon area in terms of sightseeing (and shopping haha!).

#helloSINGAPORE! (part 1): Shopping&Sightseeing

Wednesday, April 17, 2013

I may not be hitting the beach this summer vacay, but I went out-of-country!Last Friday(040513),me and my family went to Singapore for a couple of days.It was all our first time and wow, I didn't expect it to be so much fun. From mixed raced fusions to the tidiest roads (not to mention that they are really strict. As in 'no littering','no spitting' and 'no chewing gum' or else, there's a fine.)--Everything seems to be in peace & order!Pretty much, this has been the safest country I've ever visited so far ♥
