Annyeong! Here's another Kdrama series that I've watched during my quarantine period last April entitled, "Something In The Rain" (Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food). It's a 2018 drama starred by Son Ye jin and Jung Hae-In.
Truth be told, I had moments of having second emotions for this especially after seeing the trailer.In fact, I wouldn't bother to watch this if it really wasn't for SYJ! 😅 Though as usual, some of my friends from the fandom urged me to watch and finish it ('cause I almost gave up after 2 episodes, I'm sorry 🙃) so I did. In conclusion, I find the story beautiful with its real-life events and it will really make you fall in love just like what they said on their promotional events 🖤 Intricate as it seems but there's a subtle reason why they put on an old girl-young guy relationship ;)

There might be negativity as you read along but keep in mind that these are purely my own thoughts (from a solid BinJin fan).

A Princess Diary Comeback in London

 This might be an all-narrative entry for now because I don’t have a PC/laptop to edit my stuff :( I hope I get to buy one soon—when ze budget comes!Hehe. Anyway, I flew to London last March for career purposes.It’s supposed to be ecstatic for me but the thought of being away from my family is utter sadness.Though on a lighter note, all is currently well! It just takes a mindset of being in a long solo travel alongside work and that I have to live independently in which adulting strikes. Truly, the struggle is real! I never thought that half of my life here would be very domesticated.
In this entry, I’ll be sharing my own “British Starter Pack” and how I cope over the past few months. ;)

My Quick Staycation to Northern Ireland

Here’s my first time to travel outside London..as a working resident! Well okay, lets confirm it: For the past 3 months, I’ve been staying in the UK for work purposes ;p I’ve been lurking this all along because I was juggling between duty and study alongside touring (of course! I’ve been going new places every week^^). In fact,my main reason why I got to go to Northern Ireland is for our 2nd part of the licensure exam. With God’s grace, I aced it and amidst the pressure,I was still able to explore the town even for just a very short stay.Truth be told, N.Ireland is like The Philippines’ Baguio or Tagaytay.It’s certainly one of the most serene places I’ve ever been. Why?How come?

Adieu to My First Job!

Just to brief things up,this is only the longer version of my resignation message to my workplace as I prefer to post this somewhere that I could express freely (which is here,in my blog!) ;)

Me lately.

My first post for 2018---and so far,life has been busier than ever!

To be honest, I really found it difficult to write after feeling very disappointed over the last few days of 2017. I wasn't heartbroken or anything but it was related to my career and I felt so disheartened that I even want to give up already. In fact, I almost did as I shove all my review materials away for about 2 weeks and went on a staycation at Subic. Hence, I started this year with quite a clean slate. I have set-up my annual goals and one of which would be for me to stay FIT.

So I joined a fitness club recently and it has made me become a health freak. LOL. Actually, I did turned conscious with my weight since stress-eating has made me friggin' gain a lot! Likewise, I hate to be called 'chubby' 🙄 that is why I decided to go on a work-out. Though it wasn't just about the way I look but going to the gym lately gave me positive vibes inspite of an exhausting workout program . Plus, I had the chance to finally dance again as there are dancing programs which is really fun. This preoccupied my mind from the negativity and I'm very happy about it; It made me decide to give that failure I had to give it another go.But this time?I have to do it with NO PRESSURE!

A lot would be asking then about what the failure was or the workout routine I have. Well 1) it's NOT a board exam and 2) I'll discuss further about this fitness stuff soon but currently, I am still adapting to it ;) But for now,let me just share the newest addition to my favs (as mentioned on my previous post): Maria Poonlertlarp aka Miss Universe Thailand 2017!! I have been following her updates even if most of her events are in Thai but her captions are in English anyway.Haha! Nevertheless,she's so pretty that it'll be a big challenge to look for her next successor on this year's pageant. ;)

Le Start of My Birthmonth

It was my birthday last October 5th and as usual,I had 2 separate parties for my family and friends.Basically,my pre-birthday was spent with my crew friends at The Barn by Tipsy Pig .This was pretty much one of the most affordable bar&resto that I've dined into with very good ambiance!

Okay, let me talk about work this time. Eversince I came back from London last Feb., I got transferred to the Emergency Department and had training there for a month. At first, I really felt so disappointed that I got transferred---I will miss 5A-OBGYNE so much!! I got to admit that I despise to be transferred there based on the comments of incident-prone and chaos. Even if most people told me to take it as a career step.. it might be a step to hell. >;l

Just when the '-BER' months began...

I'm back.
I wasn't able to write a lot because I have been very very verryyy BUSY. It's been a total whirlwind eversince I started work. This is real nurse sh*t already. The frustrating change of scheds,endless overtimes and restless days---I've been embracing it for the past 8 months.Yet it taught me more to be patient,especially in a cruel job world.Never lose your optimism.
Anyway, lets not go further with my job on this post.

RN life so far..(and company outing)

It has been a month since I've started working in the hospital and so far, I still couldn't say whether I liked it or not.Maternal Care isn't really my forte during my nursing studies before but between that and the medicine ward,I guess I prefer to stay at the Ob-Gyne for a moment. I started as a dope here since I have very little knowledge in maternal care whether it's CS or NSD or even a Gyne case.Yet as I've had numerous duty days previously,I came to learn more about it. This adjustment mode is gonna take a pretty long time to endure Sometimes I ask myself, "what other positive interventions should I do?" Yet,many people say that it's always hard the beginning but once you get the hang of it, everything will drive in smoothly. And I just hope it happens to me someday~

Anyhow,I had my first ever company outing at Coolwaves Waterpark Ranch at Bulakan, Bulacan last April 16th. I never thought that it was that near! Haha.Like it only took us an hour and half from Ortigas to the venue.

We reserved 2 cottages there and for a whole day tour,we grilled,swam and played parlor games.Seriously,is that what they really do in company outings?Like one of the parlor games was a banana eating contest---but this one's different. The banana's covered with chocolate powder and you have to eat it first before you eat the whole banana (and you can't use your hands to eat it,btw)! So us, Junior staff were the contestants and apparently, I came in second!hahaha :)) We have a picture of it on Facebook.

This is pretty much,my second all-girl family next to my college sisters.But this time,I'm the youngest here.I have so much to learn on this love-hate relationship I have with work itself. Once again,I apologize for having this as a very late entry that it didn't make it as an entry for April. I had a straight 16-hr duty last week from 2pm-6am and it was...stressed (because I wasn't ready!) -__-
Anyway,we'll see what happens next.

#2014 Memories

Words can't explain how much this year has been well-achieved and a success. It has been a year of teary-eyed moments,goals achieved and of course,"I never thought of..." events ;") So here it goes!

#2013 MEMORIES

Indeed,this year has been a blast and it's one of the BEST!I may be busy all throughout,but the year has brought me in to a lot of surprises and to "things I never thought would possibly happen". :')
10. CROSSFIRE. Last year, Christian Grey was the ultimate peg;Now,this new book series nailed it! The Dark&Dangerous Gideon Cross stole my heart this year.❤️ Just like Mr.Grey,this man has his own 'problems' too (and so as the heroine character in the story,Eva Tramell). But their love affair is sweeter than Steele-Grey :"> The series is already on its 3rd book and it has more mature content. So if you're legal(18+) and curious on a different kind of romance,try reading this :)

and btw,the story's not ending on the third book yet! ;D

9.Camo luvin'.Meet the newest addition to my favorites!Tho purple is still my most fave.I somehow don't know why I got hooked on camouflage when it's just all of a sudden that i started collecting stuff in that print(and it drives me crazy!hahaha!).No wonder,it does look unique.But you know,I don't like military nor soldiers---except for a #soldieroflove perhaps.oops!HAHAHA ;))

8. Christmas with my Japanese cousins. Shopping + roadtrippin' + drinking sessions with them was great!! :D Mind you,it's been more than 10 years since they've last spent the holidays here since they usually go around July.Thus,touring them around town has always been fun.Check out my facebook for our pictures :)

7. Concerts!concerts! I'm pleased to attend 2 concerts this year; from Demi Lovato's to Carly Rae Jepsen's :D Like what I've reviewed last year, Carly Rae became one of my favorite popstars 'cause of her upbeat songs.While for Demi,I really am a fan of hers since she starred on Camp Rock.She'd be my idol if I were a highschool teen now 'cause I find her similar to Kelly Clarkson :) Anyway,I was supposed to watch Ke$ha's also but unfortunately,school screwed it up for me (hashtag duty problems T__T).However,i look forward to watch more concerts next year! :)


6. Dance with the GFORCE. After 987654321000 years,my plan of enrolling myself to a dance workshop once again has finally come true!lol.And it's not just any dance workshop..I can't even believe at first that I'm on a dance class from a group that's performing on ASAP!Hence,it was really great.i despise rehearsals but i do miss them especially the moments when we're practicing the choreography already :) I'm glad to be part of Jazz funk batch 1 by Teacher Sherwin Casepe! This whole workshop just built more about my stage presence dancing skills.Hopefully next year,i'd be able to join again.Watch & Read the show here!

5. Epic CREW-ventures. We may be tangled by our hectic scheds in school,but we still found opportunities to unwind and HAVE FUN! Call it dramatic but I do feel disconnected to the world if all I do is to go to school then go home in a day.Sometimes,you need to take a break from it--like going to new places and trying new things which my barkada usually do. :)

4. My crazyyy 20th birthday.

Simply, a beautiful mess.yet unforgettable.It's the most memorable moment that i'll have for the 2nd decade of my life.I do have very surprising guests and gifts,but the fact that I passed out was just....ugh,eff THAT.lol.Wanna recap it?.

3. Grease Manila(111013).like I said, I'll never forget this play ever!Some people even discouraged me from watching it as I was deciding before if I'm really going to watch.But since I've been hooked to this eversince I was watching the rehearsals on the net and my favorite will be there,I suddenly thought that I can't miss this show.and so,things happened--I watched the show and it was amazing plus surprisingly,I get to meet the cast at the end. ;D I'll never forget that moment when Carla D. hugged me that time!♥ tell me more,tell me more! ;p

2. #helloSINGAPORE!This made my summer vacay this year superb ♥ Our whole trip there was absolutely amazing from endless shoppings,diversing with mixed races and our whole day at Universal Studios.Indeed,i'd loved to go back there again(and I AM coming back!!) soon ;) Reminisce with me here: part 1 l part 2 .

Friends with the DJ's.---well not just DJ's but also theater stars!And I'm so pleased and thankful to meet them.I didn't expect such things to happen!Especially meeting my 2 favorites, Carla Dunareanu and Sam YG for several times! :"""> Yeah,i got to admit that i usually have those 'embarrassing moments' to meet them;but having the guts to do it surely turns out to something!Haha.Though when it comes to my favorite days with them,the most would probably be with Sam.♥ oh lord,thank you for making this possible!! 0:")

Such a short,short sembreak it is!But at some points,I'm quite pleased for getting well-rested over the past few days.I definitely get to do what I want then---read novels,stroll at the mall and watch catch-up series of my favorite shows!Like I said before,I've been watching the 2nd season of "New Girl" on the net and i looove the story so much!❤ Zooey Deschanel and the gang never fails to make me laugh out of their wittiness on each episode.Haha.;D
So second sem aka the very last semester of my academic year starts tomorrow and I'm having psychosomatic feelings lately.I've been getting the nerves of our practicum's deadly 12-hr shift sched as to what they described..-__- Hence, I still try to look at the brighter side of it.As in,this ain't gonna be that tough,right?.Sigh~ I just have to face the perks of always going to school in a bun,with a black bag and no jewelries from now.Ohh student nurse life...Well anyway. ;)

there is FUN in spite of the difficulties :)

I used to truly abhor my schedule in school because it's been hectic and very unstable!It's like we have a new sched. every week as we need to adjust for our prof's availability--oh wait,it's professor/nun or clinical instructor T_T As i said last time,i was in the midst of completing my requirements for the first half of the sem plus my midterms which kept being postponed.It's very annoying to the fact that you keep on reviewing every night and then it keeps being postponed T__T Thus until now,it is my third week of having our midterm exams.ughh.It was also our university week last week so we had a UFAIR(Jan.25-27) for St.Paul Week.There were a bunch of food stalls,girly accessory stalls and other fair booths&rides for the highschool students.And also,the fair was sponsored by Smart wherein they gave out a tumbler and a Jump In SIM card.

And besides UFAIR,there's another moment that made my week great last time---i met Sam YG again!! :"""> It was last Thursday when he had a talk at Palma Hall while i was with my HS friend then.I really didn't expect that i would be able to talk to and meet him again..sigh,thank you lord. 0:")There's got to be more to come soon!❤

#2012 MEMORIES

This year has been a whole set of adventure to me.Yet,i can say that it's been surprising and wish-fulfilling. no matter how old we are,lets just live while we're young shall we! :)

10. Fangirl Moments.The songs of Carly Rae Jepsen and One Direction became a big impact to me. "Call Me Maybe" being stuck on my head is very well-understood.but me as a "directioner"?!Haha i used to despise them until my cousins got me in to them.Though, i'm not a die hard fan; i only came to like their songs. :)

8. quotable-QUOTES. indeed,people has come to be more exposed to its emotions ever since twitter was made.that's why backstabbing and pick-up lines became a shiz.haha! 6. entrepreneurship. truly an 'income generator' :)) It all started last summer when i tried to sell style watches (which was surprisingly successful). and then i made fan button pins for One Direction and sold my extra Katy Perry merchandise.Then comes Nursing Week in school where i get to sell accessories.This was somehow one of the best experiences i've learned this year.and it's all thanks to Frontrow Enterprise for teaching me how to create a business :) VISIT MY ONLINE SHOP HERE.NOTE: I'll be officially changing this page into my own online swell shop soon.thus that will no longer be my frontrow page :)
5.crew-ventures.i'm blessed to have such awesome barkadas! :) from i.z.u.n.i.a,#prettygirlsrock,group 3C powers and to my crewmates..they are the best. even if we have a nearby mall in school, we still hang-out as far as Makati!! iba talaga pag planado,haha :)) so there,i really enjoyed every bit of our hang-out adventures.

4. California Dreams! (012212)i'll never forget winning a concert ticket here for the first time and upgrading it into Titanium(vip). thanks to that contest,Astroplus! I'm happy to see Katy Perry in concert for the 2nd time :) it's the only concert that i've gone to this year and it's one of the best concerts among the others that i've watched before.indeed,it's a Candyfornia Dream experience ;D read my full review about the concert here
3. GREYSESSED.my disappointment has swooned away; all thanks to Christian Grey.♡ Call it horny or porno but it's not! Yeah,it's erotic but it has it's own plot. I don't want to debate this further anymore,haha! but anyway,i love this trilogy so much!!for the first time,i cried while reading the book 'cause i felt very emotional for some reasons :)) Christian Grey is one heck of a girl's ideal man.'nuff said♡

i'm proud enough to buy and finish the whole trilogy during the month of August (specifically,during 'Hagupit ng Habagat') :))

1. my 19th: a month-long celebration.my 19th has somewhat become my debut part 2. i can't believe that i celebrated it throughout the whole month of October! i had a house party with the family, treated my superr friends at GH,treated my dutymates(3C) at CSMC and the fun,fun hang-outs with my friends.Also,i have the 2nd part of my mom's debut gift to me--an ipad(100612) :") and of course,i received some of the most memorable msgs from someone that i haven't seen for such a long time.;) So,there begins my last teen year!read my birthday entry here
