It’s been several months since my last travel and it already felt like 2 years of being stuck in the UK. My adulting era has paved to its fullest during my long haul stay as I juggle a Monday-Friday job, carry my own flat chores and facilitating my residency status (which was approved!) Last March, I took the ‘Life in The UK’ exam on the same day that I landed in the country—and it was truly promising.⭐️ Since then, I kept reminiscing how I made throughout this overseas life. Did I make my 25-yr old self proud?

Welcome to my first entry of the year! 5 months after, and I have finished written this blog entry—I know it’s been long and outdated yet I guess that’s just how eventful the past year went for me!😅 I had a new job, re-located to another place then went back to Philippines for the holidays. And I've been writing this bit by bit as the weeks gone by. But as I promised, I’ll aim to write in current time this year. 🤞🏻
(02OCT24) Moving on, I went on a 14-day Euro trip with my parents and colleagues on my birthday last October! Thanks to Europamundo for hosting this trip; The travel agency offers Euro tours in various group packages good for family or for a company trip. It’s my first interconnecting tour across Europe as we went to 4 countries and about 10 cities which was tiring but an adventure of a lifetime. Though, the whole route of the journey was spectacular despite hectic transport changes by land and air.
Nevertheless, here’s a highlight of how our trip went! I suppose this entry might sound like my travel diary but I hope you’d learn something from it 😄

Has this year hopped by so quick? Or perhaps, it was just utterly eventful? I randomly don’t like the number ‘23’ for some reasons yet I remained hopeful that this year would be better than the previous—and certainly, it was. 2023 has been my milestone moment despite sad days, a heartbreak and irrational decisions. But these challenges shaped me to become better that led to new beginnings (with travelling on the side, of course😉) as I reached another decade.
So welcome to my world. Here’s my annual year-in review…for better or for worst.

(31MAR23) In less than 2 months, I can’t believe that I’m back in Asia! Moreso, I am thrilled to spend this year’s Lent in Japan with my family❤️ I know a week’s never enough to tour another continent but I pushed through with this for personal reasons (and I’d save that story for another time, maybe?Haha!) and also to attend my cousin’s wedding. Nevertheless, it’s great to continue my “Japan Tales”—the post-pandemic era. 💓
Of all the countries that I went, it’s Japan that I have visited frequently and it’s a country that I wouldn’t really get tired of going back. It has a very safe community no matter which city you head on despite the language barrier. And apart from being a tech-world and a fashion district, Japan is known for its gastronomical cuisine.
I made a lot of Japan contents over the years already so as answered from my previous Instagram stories, here’s a random entry about my trip in Tokyo which will focus more on the food that I ate there! 😅 I have to say that Japanese food is a necessity for Asians like me and an interesting palate for other walks of life. 😉

I hope everyone is having a good start of the year so far! Mine has somewhat an emotional trainwreck as I return to London. My holidays in the Philippines has been my elixir to heal from my personal problems. Words can’t express how thankful I am to be with my family most of those times. And now that I am back in British soil, let me simply say that I’m trying to take things here, one positive day at a time. Thus, enough of that dramatic intro.
I know that this is such a very long overdue blog but let me share my previous summer holiday in France and Belgium with my family! It’s quite promising to tour Paris again after the pandemic and nothing much has changed. We went to almost the same places since it’s my brother’s first Euro trip but there are new activities that we did. Also, we had a weekend side-trip to Belgium which will mostly cover this entry. Brussels is a perfect Euro staycation. You can read my previous trip to Paris here ;)

January has surely become a free-trial month for me after all the conflicts that arose. Firstly, I became part of the Omicron community which brought me at my lowest over my 2wk quarantine. The flu was worst and it’s a misery to be isolated for such a long time. But blessings in disguise, I felt that it’s better that I got it here at home than in London or else that would absolutely top up the worse of the worst. Then, came some personal problems that makes me not want to return in Londres anymore. Oh, you can never really get away from adulting once started, isn’t it? 🥲 I guess this unexpected long vacation took me to a toll to reflect and unwind. Hence, my last week in my hometown brought me to an Island trip with my family at El Nido Resorts, Palawan! At some point, I missed embarking on sea adventures especially when you always live in the city (cold, gloomy and urbanized to name a slit of my world ;p). And also, I’m excited to tour another part of PH! 🥰
Here’s to share my tour to one of the pristine islands of the Philippines. Take note that this trip was carried on through a travel bubble in which limited visitors were allowed to join and COVID restrictions were strictly observed.

will COVID go away if we say 10 nice words a day?
Thank goodness that this year has reached its end; The world has faced so much struggles and devastating events throughout this time from the occurrence of a pandemic to societal issues. 2020 may not be the perfect vision that we expected but I believe that there are still little sparks of joy while we adjust to 'the new normal'. Hence, here's my top 5 precious moments during the this 2nd decade.

(08OCT19) From the lovely Paris, I had a trip to one of its neighbouring countries: ITALY!Apparently, I was supposed to go back in London after France but since I wanted to maximize the use of my visa (as this might also be my last time to travel this year huhuuu!😭), I decided to tag along with my parent's business trip even for just a short while--3 days.Like what the heck?! I know there are many cities to explore here so I will definitely return soon!In the meantime, I tried to cover the most of Rome and the Vatican City which is bellisima beyond words.🖤

Thanks to Big Bus Tours for the best hop on-hop off experience!
It may sound common, mainstream or whatever but my first EU trip led me to France. I honestly don't have plans of going here this year but due to itinerary reasons and as my parents came to visit me in London (yay!!),this happened. Nevertheless, I have no regrets that I started my Schengen musing here--Paris is absolutely lovely.❤️
I will give out tips and how my 5-day itinerary went in this city of love. ;D

03JAN19 My family and I went on another Mt. Fuji day tour courtesy of H.I.S Japan Local Tour. This was our 2nd time to embark on this snowy mountain yet what's more exciting is that we're going here for the winter experience! You may check out Tokyo (Part2) about my trip to Mt.Fuji's 5th station.

My first travel happened too early and so does my comeback to Japan! This is for the reason that we want to experience the winter season. Thus, here we are in Tokyo! Several have been asking me if either Tokyo or Osaka is better--yet I CAN'T choose between the two! They are both lovely to visit with all the good food, shopping and attractions and I highly suggest to tour them separately as one or two days is not enough. Anyhow, Japan's capital is such a wide metropolis in which each town has its own unique theme. On this post, I will highlight briefly some of the cities that I went plus a few tips on how to travel savvy in this wonderful city. :)

Here's my last Asian stop to revisit and it's great to be back after 5 long years!! Singapore has been one of my favorite places mainly because of its mixed race atmosphere. Moreover, it is so safe with the many laws that they implement (i.e no chewing gum,no food & drinks inside a PUV and the newest thing I've seen,no durian in selected areas!haha).
you may want to check out my previous posts about this country ;) I'd loved to visit some of them again but with such a short stay, I wasn't able to do it already. Nevertheless, me and my family watched the Grand Prix, strolled inside Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay.

I have conquered another visit to another Universal Studio branch and this time,it's the one in Osaka! This is actually one of the reasons why my family wanted to go in the said area of Japan because of its breathtaking attractions (which I should say, more unique than in Singapore). But I enjoyed both of it so much (you could read my USSG experience HERE) that I will recommend either of those to be seen!So here's a recap of my tour to USJ.

I'm back in Japan and it came in early as 1)I'm travelling with my family and 2) We finally made it to cherry blossom season! :D God knows how much I have fought at work to get my VL's approved this month (especially the fact that unexpectedly, I got transferred at the adult ER..but lets not talk about that for now.Haha). Our departure flight had a stop-over in Taiwan which got me more excited even if we just stayed there for an hour (and we were only inside the airport!). Yet I still find it thrilling and definitely got my hopes up that this will be my next trip soon! *fingers crossed* Though I have other Asian countries in mind to visit for the next quarter..hmm. ;)

4)my newest inspiration.
3)Nihao HK//Macau!
So this is how my family spent our summer this year: visiting the outskirts of Hong Kong and cruisin through Macau.I certainly enjoyed Macau from its street foods and casino spots even for just a day. While I strongly recommend HK as a go-to place for first time travellers. My 'nihao travel series' might continue next year as I go to Taiwan!
2)Britney Spears' Concert (061517)
Her songs will always be the anthem of a teenager born in the 90's.From the classic "Baby One More Time" to "Oops I Did It Again",I believe everyone could relate to those songs! Likewise, The concert was definitely worth the wait, and worth the expense. 'nuff said!
1)Goin' Solo!
My week-long trip to Osaka has been one of the best experiences I've ever had!❤️Truth be told, many people will always doubt the wonders of solo travel but prove them wrong! My brave soul has taught me to be more independent and even with the slightest mishaps I've had there,I was still able to visit a lot of towns around the Kansai area 😍 Ergo,I promise to come back soon! And this won't also be the last time that I will go on a solo flight. ;)
Lasltly, thank you to all who have been reading my entries! Some of my old entries are underconstruction so please bear with me.I'm finding time to retrieve my other photos and likewise, I assure y'all that I'll make more updates soon!

After 7 years, we're back in Hong Kong for the third time! Thanks to Fiesta Travel and Tours for our flight tickets :) We purchased it from a Travel Expo last February and their agency gave us a very good deal. However, we didn't go on a packaged tour anymore since we already went to places such as Disneyland and Ocean Park before. Our trip this time covers more on the Kowloon area in terms of sightseeing (and shopping haha!).
Monday, May 8, 2017
The second day of our trip covers a day tour in the 'Casino Capital of China',Macau! Well, I have been to Las Vegas last year and I surely believe my views would take a few comparisons. Though inspite of what is expected such as the casinos and each hotels' connecting malls, it is a must to explore the main square of this Portuguese-colonized country.
