(19AUG23) My travel hiatus has come to an end! Yet it felt really quick despite that I’ve been extremely busy as usual since normally, I would fill my days with work while staying in London. That was my way of distraction especially that the month of August has made me miserable at some point---but I’m glad it’s over. There’s absolutely a light at the end of the tunnel. You just have to keep going (and be patient!). ⭐️
So I resumed ticking my travel list as I went to SOUTH KOREA!! It still felt surreal that I finally, finally, FINALLY toured here even for just a short time. There were lapses along the initial planning of this trip but we managed to carry on and made it fun. I definitely need to come back soon!

I will share as much as I can about this trial-and-error trip but please be guided that these are written based on my personal experience. Hence warning, there will be negative comments ahead.⚠️

A TOUR-kish Delight (Part2)

Sunday, June 12, 2022

(30APR22) There’s often a side-staycation to another city in every Turkey visit, and the one that currently tops that list is Cappadocia (Kapadokya). Situated in central Anatolia, this region has an exquisite Stonehenge history given its valley rock views apart from its sunrise hot air balloon rides. It’s incomparable to the life in Istanbul, I should say. ;p

Let me share our 2 and a half day stay in this bedrock town. Yet, behind such Instagram-worthy attractions involved a lot of walking through slopes, hiking, and thrill.

A TOUR-kish Delight (PART 1)

Saturday, May 14, 2022

(28APR22) Merhaba! I went on a 5-day trip with friends to Turkey, one of the countries that boasts its border between Europe and Asia. It somewhat felt very different that I didn’t embark on my own this time alongside the realization that there are also cons in group travels. Nevertheless, I highly appreciated my squad for touring with me. ^^ Perhaps I might have gotten more used in planning things on my way that’s why the funny feeling came through. 😅

Anyway, this first part covers our whole preparation to travel over the “Land of Turks” and our stay in Istanbul---NOT the country’s capital but the heart of Turks’ tourist attractions.

COVID restrictions might have eased up to its limit in present time but here’s a friendly reminder to stay caution when travelling

An Island Getaway

Tuesday, March 8, 2022

January has surely become a free-trial month for me after all the conflicts that arose. Firstly, I became part of the Omicron community which brought me at my lowest over my 2wk quarantine. The flu was worst and it’s a misery to be isolated for such a long time. But blessings in disguise, I felt that it’s better that I got it here at home than in London or else that would absolutely top up the worse of the worst. Then, came some personal problems that makes me not want to return in Londres anymore. Oh, you can never really get away from adulting once started, isn’t it? 🥲 I guess this unexpected long vacation took me to a toll to reflect and unwind. Hence, my last week in my hometown brought me to an Island trip with my family at El Nido Resorts, Palawan! At some point, I missed embarking on sea adventures especially when you always live in the city (cold, gloomy and urbanized to name a slit of my world ;p). And also, I’m excited to tour another part of PH! 🥰

Here’s to share my tour to one of the pristine islands of the Philippines. Take note that this trip was carried on through a travel bubble in which limited visitors were allowed to join and COVID restrictions were strictly observed.

My 'Business Class' Diary

Monday, March 1, 2021

(28Jan21)The day has cometh and I really hate to leave my hometown yet 😞 It truly breaks my heart to be away again from my family. Let alone, the feeling is similar to Yoon Seri who can only see RJH every 2 weeks/year in Switz (whereas for me is a family matter). But life is not all glitter and pink clouds--we have to wake up and face the harsh reality. And so, I'm back in Londres. Everything felt like being back to square one. Likewise, I'm in the midst of nursing my jetlag soul with a pinch of homesickness as I write this blog. Nevertheless, let me cut off my lamentations now. I believe that this will just take time and I will get through this.

Anyway! Even if I carry a heavy heart of travelling back to this country, I had an interesting flight with a Dubai layover and a first to be in business class. 🙈💖
I am no chaebol or a flighty heiress but things just happened that way after getting my full refund from my cancelled flights. Plus, I needed extra storage for the bulk of my baggage (clothes, BinJin merch, pinoy stuff, etc). Hence, here's my experience to travel like a boss lady and a little guide for OFW's who'll be going back to the UK from Manila. **note: I couldn't share my process of LHR to MNL anymore 'cause the protocols have changed since my arrival there last December

10/10: Crash Landing On You

Sunday, April 5, 2020

Disclaimer: All thoughts are of my own.

I hope everyone’s safe in this time of a pandemic! Let us follow the quarantine policies of our country to end the spread of COVID19. It does get boring to be on house arrest for quite a while whereas for me, working in the hospital has been very stressful with a 50:50 chance of getting the strain ;( Understaffed, lack of supplies and the increasing number of affected patients---so please STAY AT HOME.Take the opportunity to rest and may we all pray for better days ✨

Honestly, my whole March hasn't really been good having some travel plans cancelled and other personal issues.Hence, in order to divert myself from such misery, I went 'Netflix and chill' on my break and one of the shows that I end up watching is "Crash Landing On You".

NB:I rarely watch K-dramas as I find it cheesy/'pabebe';
Majority of my friends and family strongly urged me to see this show and at first, I was disgusted that I vowed not to watch it as it was very mainstream. I just even asked for the full plot-all spoilers which I found interesting. So once upon a miserable day, I gave in to watch the series---and they have captured my heart. ;p

Japan Tales: Winter at Mt.Fuji

Tuesday, March 26, 2019

03JAN19 My family and I went on another Mt. Fuji day tour courtesy of H.I.S Japan Local Tour. This was our 2nd time to embark on this snowy mountain yet what's more exciting is that we're going here for the winter experience! You may check out Tokyo (Part2) about my trip to Mt.Fuji's 5th station.

Japan Tales: TOKYO! (part 3)

Sunday, January 27, 2019

My first travel happened too early and so does my comeback to Japan! This is for the reason that we want to experience the winter season. Thus, here we are in Tokyo! Several have been asking me if either Tokyo or Osaka is better--yet I CAN'T choose between the two! They are both lovely to visit with all the good food, shopping and attractions and I highly suggest to tour them separately as one or two days is not enough. Anyhow, Japan's capital is such a wide metropolis in which each town has its own unique theme. On this post, I will highlight briefly some of the cities that I went plus a few tips on how to travel savvy in this wonderful city. :)

Crazy, Rich, Singapore

Sunday, October 21, 2018

Here's my last Asian stop to revisit and it's great to be back after 5 long years!! Singapore has been one of my favorite places mainly because of its mixed race atmosphere. Moreover, it is so safe with the many laws that they implement (i.e no chewing gum,no food & drinks inside a PUV and the newest thing I've seen,no durian in selected areas!haha).

you may want to check out my previous posts about this country ;) I'd loved to visit some of them again but with such a short stay, I wasn't able to do it already. Nevertheless, me and my family watched the Grand Prix, strolled inside Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay.
