I know this has been long and overdued because of how busy I really became during my vacation. So, my apologies! This post turned from a part 2 up to a throwback New Year's Day post! Nevertheless, it's a great feeling to reminisce that moment in which I would loved to live it all over again. Anyhow, here it goes...
Indeed, it was a happy new year to my personal but most especially, to my fan girl life. 🖤 Who would have thought that my favorite loveteam will give out their much-awaited confirmation on the first day of the year?! And it was even Son Yejin's birthmonth so, wow. Just WOW. 😍 Hence, let me write my full thoughts of it since I believe a tweet won't be enough to celebrate this BinJin milestone. And as I drabble up, be informed that my mind's on BinJin high yet these are not delusional anymore but my pure 2 cents! ;)
So as I've often mentioned, I'm a newbie of K-ent so I have no clue on how they manage celebrity loveteams. It's even my first time to hear that there's a yearly couple blind item segment hosted by Dispatch which gave high hopes to the fandom that maybe BinJin would be on the list. Seeing the silhouette teaser gave me a strong hinge that they might be the mystery couple. I even placed bets to my cousins about it (Fun fact: I really had placed my vows/bets when BinJin confirms. I even took this as a challenge to myself since I’m someone who has NO ‘ship/stan history that got debunked before 😜!)
So there came New Year’s Day; I woke up early with roughly 4 hours of sleep. At around 0900H, a tweet broke the internet...
My heart froze in a jiffy and I kept zooming in and out of the picture to check if the man’s really Hyun Bin. I quickly reposted it in all of my socmed accounts as a way to release my silent screams. Then 2 hours after…
A day before that, I released a chibiart inspired from HB’s shot of making the VAST Christmas Tree and Yejin’s BAU outfits. To my mind, I was screaming that, “I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT BINJIN CONFIRMED AFTER MY CHIBI ART TWIST”. Like wtf, how did my delusional ideas became so accurate?! 🥺🖤
I was a little teary-eyed and shaking while sharing the news to my fellow friends from the fandom and cousins. I felt like I won the lottery or something life-changing. Lol. But truly, that day was legendary for BinJin Nation. I cannot imagine that my first Korean stans will be a confirmed couple! 🥺 I love how they proved me wrong about keeping their lips sealed regarding their relationship. Though, things do get slipped out with too much sightings and fandom receipts no matter how private they can be. Yet the current chances are, this ninja couple might get more cautious and private after this.
Still, a person gets to dream for fresh BinJin contents soon, isn’t it? ;p
Eversince I became so die hard about them (like yeah, I admit it folks. My fan girl heart just resurrected from this lovely bunch 🙈), I have high instincts that they are more than on-screen partners. From SMART Tel.Co to endless synchronized contents, who wouldn’t think that it’s #ICBM?!
The assumptions get juicier when they somewhat try to evade questions about themselves as co-stars. Ideally, one has to talk about its showbiz partner during an interview isn’t it? Especially if it’s their recent project together.
And can you imagine all those times when HB went to Jordan then Yejin had a Japanese fanmeet, they were already A COUPLE?! Who knows, but maybe those Yejinhand selfie clips are for Bin-sshi purposes to see as well! There's even an article saying that Hyun Bin was using Yejin's perfume to remind him of her scent. How heart-fluttering can that be! 😍
Also, I don’t really buy about the news that they’re just dating for the past 8 months—whatever happened to the LA grocery sighting or the restaurant which famed VAST’ line of “check your DM”? Nevertheless, what matters is that BINJIN IS REAL. 🖤
Their confirming articles crashed the internet filled with fluff. Personally, I never believe about their golf sighting but now, it’s as clear as day with the paparazzi photos. I love it. And I will definitely be one of the fans who will look up warmly to them. ^.^
Then that afternoon came with another official confirmation from Yejin’s Instagram update. Seriously, it was a damned day of euphoria for our BinJin world. I have to commend on how humble and brave this lady went with her first confirmed dating status. 20 years in the showbiz industry can be so difficult to maintain a scandal-free life and Son Yejin just nailed it. Hyun Bin is one heck of a lucky chap and he deserves it. They are definitely a match-made in heaven. 🖤 Hence, I wish them both the best. They are absolutely my idols for a relationship goal and I will forever support them (I can attest to that with most of my idols from my teenage years!). My only hope was for them to have more contents. Like another joint project would be lovely even if it takes a miracle again to make it happen. 🤞🏻
