(21AUG19) I had a 5-day break from work and i spent 3 days of it in Scotland! ;D This is pretty much, my first spontaneous European trip in which I had mishaps throughout my booking process. It’s a pain in my pocket but let it be charged to experience. ;) Nevertheless, I’m quite a stranger to this country as some would say that the place can be boring and there’s even little info about it in the internet.

I travelled by plane going to Aberdeen via Flybe and I’m completely dissatisfied with their service (sorry!). The aircraft is reasonably small but their baggage size limit is wicked! They have very strict size limit with cabin bags as they charged mine that exactly fits their bag sizer nor exceeded 10kg. Hence, be cautious to this; It’s not just me who’s a victim of it during my flight.
Though , you could also go to Scotland via train or coach. Both modes have cheap prices but the travel time can take longer depending on the city that you’ll go. I went to Glasgow by coach then train going back to London; fun yet tiring! Haha

Thanks to tita Rose and family for adopting me throughout this trip.❤️ They’ve toured me around Aberdeen, drove in Edinburgh, and I’m very well taken care off! For good hotel deals in Scotland, you may use the search bar engine below:
DAY1: A B E R D E E N.
Marischal College
I have never seen such a very uniformed town that every structure is bricked and grey! Aberdeen is known to it as well as being the oil industry of the country. Stonehaven is popular in the area where you can see Dunnotar Castle.
The harbour town of Stonehaven.Eating fish n chips by the bay with seagulls flying around.Purrrfect!
It felt like trekking when going towards the castle (Entrance fee: £7 for adults) so be ready! Ascending back is the hardest with all the steep steps. Yet, there’s really not much inside the fortress aside from its beautiful rocky structure.
DAY2: E D I N B U R G H
Welcome to the capital! The ride to Edinburgh takes 3hours from Aberdeen.
I am amazed on how antique this whole place is ❤️ The outskirts and city squares felt like being in the 18th century or likewise, Hogwarts!
The cafe where the Harry Potter author finished writing her books
I went on a 2hr walking tour about how J.K Rowling got her inspirations in making Harry Potter and mind you, it is everywhere!
wished I could stock 'em back in London!hihi.
I’m not much of a Potterhead but I find it very interesting to know where most scenes of the book came from.Besides that, did you know that there really is a diagon alley? ;D
Enchanting as it seems, I declare that this is my fav landmark in Scotland ❤️ There are various Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts merchandise shops here but they can be quite pricey.
Strolling around Scotland’s capital could take you in a series of uphill and downhill roads. So prepare your feet unless you go on a hop-on,hop-off bus! I suggest going on foot instead because there are a lot to explore across the town.
Like the Royal Mile which reminds me of London’s Trafalgar Square or Piccadilly Circus. It’s a long stretch where people show off their talents for a cause such as stand-up comedies, selling handmade items, mime statues and the original bagpipe players.
It takes several stairs to reach this beauty! I didn't go inside anymore but if you do, they say that it costs £20 for the entrance fee.
I only had 4hrs to stay here as this was just my connecting trip back to London.Nevertheless, they say that Glasgow is known to be Scot’s shopping district. I believe there are also museums here but with the lack of time,I really didn’t have the chance to see them. I was even carrying my whole stuff while walking around the city squares. Thus, I shall visit this next time!
