is it just me who says that both of these artists seem alike?Although i gotta say that i adore Katy Perry more than Lady Gaga; However,both singers are amazingly the best. I used to 'hate' them when they first appeared on TV..i was like "I Kissed A Girl?" and "Pokerface?UGH!".But then that changed when both singles became a hit.
So what's common between Katy & Gaga?
I heard both of them started singing in church.They also came in as new artists last year [2008] and have their first singles topping-up the charts.and what's more is that they're unique over their..flaws?They show their skin and their crazyness over stuffs...haha!Similarly, they are basically in the pop genre which is great.
I'm much more of a Katy Perry fan.i love the 'crazyness' when she blogs and her songs could be one of the best pop songs i've ever heard.Of course, I'm more in-favor of her upbeat songs ;] Her song lyrics are totally UNIQUE and I like it a lot :DD

*Waking Up in Vegas- This song just grew up on me when the music vid got released.the song's about..money,fame and fortune? cute vid,cute song indeed!haha,was elvis in the vid? :))

*Ur So Gay-i suppose the vid didnt got released on tv..haha.the vid has dolls on it..check it out.haha,somehow vulgar

As for Lady Gaga, her dance-y tunes is awesomeness. :D Yes,she shows alot of her skin but look at her!she got the trend
and is fashionable in her own sexy way.haha.Despite of her remarkable dance steps,she's really a performer :)
